A common cause of infertility in women is a hormonal disorder that disrupts the normal reproductive cycle and prevents ovulation. This leads to irregular menstrual cycles. The most common cause of ovulatory disorders is caused by a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Tube factor
Eggs are collected by the fallopian tube and fertilization (the process of embryo formation when the egg and sperm meet) takes place at the distal end of the fallopian tube. If the tube is blocked or damaged, fertility will be impaired. The most common cause of fallopian tube damage is a sexually transmitted infection or infection after an abortion. In India, genital tuberculosis is very common and a major cause of infertility.
Endometriosis
It is a common condition that can affect the ovaries, tubes where endometrial tissue (the lining of the womb) can attach to an organ, causing inflammation and scarring.
Unexplained
If the routine tests do not show any abnormalities in the torque. This could be due to subtle errors in the ovulation or fertilization process.
Age and fertility
As females get older, the incidence of infertility increases as the quality of the eggs decreases. Older women are also more likely to miscarry or have a child with a chromosomal abnormality than their younger counterparts. Women over 40 have lower success rates even with assisted reproductive technologies (ART).
